Located 37 km north of Hobart and 30 m above sea level, New Norfolk is one of the largest centres in Tasmania. It is a comment on the Englishness of Tasmania that there are towns like New Norfolk which are built around a large village green. Apart from its village green and its name, New Norfolk is a town with a large number of interesting historic buildings.
