East Perth is an inner suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located next to the Perth CBD. Claise Brook and Claisebrook Cove are within the suburb. From the early 1980s, virtually all of the residential real estate on the western side of Lord Street became home to commercial enterprises; the buildings remain, either single or duplex dwellings previously inhabited mostly by migrant families. East Perth is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia and is about 1 km east-southeast of WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011 Australian census the population of East Perth was 8,185 when there were 3,710 Females and 4,475 Males living there.
