Beverley lies on the banks of the Avon River. Beverley is a town in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, 133 kilometres south-east of the state capital, Perth, between York and Brookton on the Great Southern Highway. Beverley is on the Great Southern railway line. Beverley is a typical wheatbelt service centre with an attractive main street, a couple of museums and a sense of peacefulness of a Western Australian country town. Beverley is located 130 km east of Perth.
